The Sinfonietta Cracovia orchestra makes sure that the sky above Kraków (and its concert halls as well) is always star-studded. How? The Stars with Sinfonietta cycle does the trick!
This time, the guest of the cycle will be Toby Thatcher, an Australian/British conductor. He is Artistic Director of Zeitgeist, & founder & Artistic Director of the Nineteenth Circle. He is also the Assistant Conductor to the Orchestre National d'Île-de-France. During 2023/24 Toby will debut with Ensemble Intercontemporain, Musikfabrik, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonietta Cracovia, the Kraków Philharmonic, Ensemble Synaesthesis & the London Symphony Orchestra/Guildhall School of Music (a side-by-side project), and return to the Slovenian Philharmonic, Ensemble Modern, the Australian Youth Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia, Royal Academy of Music & the Sydney Youth Orchestra. He will also work with the Philharmonia Orchestra & l'Orchestre national de Lyon as a Guest Assistant Conductor. Toby has worked with ensembles internationally including Orchestre National de France, hr-Sinfonieorchester Frankfurt, Ensemble Modern, Slovenian Philharmonic, Croatian Radiotelevision Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonieorchester Basel, Korean Symphony Orchestra, Panon Philharmonic, Riot Ensemble, Auckland Philharmonia & Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
