Held since 1996, the popular Proms Concerts in Kraków are a favourite instalment of the early autumn events calendar. Inspired by the long-standing tradition of celebratory concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Kraków also bids farewell to summer with an all-singing music gala.

The stars of this year’s 26th Last Night of the Proms in Cracow are the soprano Marta Huptas, the baritone Paweł Trojak and the Norwegian tubist Øystein Baadsvik, star of both, famous concert stages and YouTube. The programme comprises arias and duos from operas by Bellini, Massenet, Leoncavallo adn Puccini, as well as Sibelius' Finlandia and Vaughan Williams' Concerto for bass tuba. It also features traditional British songs such as Rule Britannia and Jerusalem, and closes with the national anthems of Poland and the UK.  The concert is led by Tim Murray conducting the Beethoven Academy Orchestra.
