The Kraków Philharmonic presents the orchestra at its best: two works from the late Romanticism period. Paradoxically, Brahms’ Variations may easily compete with some of Bach’s finest counterpoint, while Strauss’ tone poem gained popularity only in the second half of the 20th century (and Stanley Kubrick may have had something to do with it…).
