KL Plaszow

19 boards are displayed between Kamieńskiego and Wielicka Streets in locations that were important in the history of the KL Plaszow in Kraków. German Nazi Labour and Concentration Camp (1942-1945). They represent e.g. the roll call space, residential blocks, execution places, the utility area, workshops. The exhibition features the KL Plaszow using archive photographs, fragments of prisoners’ accounts and short historical reports. Sepia toning is used to distinguish the described people and objects on a black and white background in almost all boards. The exhibition is aimed to explain the history of KL Plaszow to visitors by sharing knowledge of the tragic past of the now neutral space.
