7xGospel Festival 2026

Lea Kjeldsen came to Kraków in 1992 on behalf of a Danish Christian organisation to work with youth. Her mission was scheduled for six years; however, when her contract came to an end, she felt she was not ready to close the Polish chapter of her story. In the fall of 1998, she came up with an idea featuring gospel music. Soon afterwards, she held the first workshops, which later became the Gospel Music Week, ultimately leading to the launch of the 7xGospel Festival in 2006. The upcoming edition will start with a worship concert, Echo of Heaven at the Pola Dialogu café (9 October). The conductors of the Kraków Gospel Choir – singer Rhonda Adams and guitarist, keyboardist and producer Mateusz Madej – will guide the audience through this musical vision of paradise. The Kraków Gospel Night will be hosted by Forum Horyzonty (10 October). The several hours long programme features choirs, ensembles and soloists. The grand finale at midnight will feature the Voices Unplugged a cappella workshop choir. In keeping with tradition, the festival programme features workshops for an advanced vocal group and for children, as well as the main workshops. Participants in classes led by conductors Daniel Cebula-Orynicz, Miłosz Konarski and Lamar Campbell will perform for the audience at the Grande Finale concert at the Suche Stawy Hall in Nowa Huta (18 October).
