The Dachshund Parade is Kraków’s longest festival – even though it only runs for one day! It brings together owners and enthusiasts of this canine breed from Poland and all over the world. The festival programme features not only the long parade from the Barbican to the Main Market Square, but also competitions with prizes, advice from dog experts (including behaviourists, vets and dog nutritionists) and activities for children. One of the key aspects of the festival is supporting organisations and foundations that care for homeless animals.
