For several years now, this event has been bringing people, cultures and ideas together. The organisers representing the Mass Events Foundation want to create a space for people to meet, find inspiration and have fun, and to lay the foundations for a civil society. This time around, the Art-Picnic will run for three days, from Saturday to Monday! This long weekend, the Wesoła Meadow offers plenty of attractions for everybody - families with children, youth, senior citizens, residents of Kraków, and visitors from Poland and abroad.
The youngest children will bounce around in the bouncy castles and take electric cars for a spin. All attendees can look forward to art, craft and educational workshops, concerts, demonstrations and stage performances showcasing the diversity and richness of cultures across language barriers. In a specially designated area for non-governmental organisations, visitors will be able to find out about the work of foundations, associations and community initiatives operating in Kraków and Lesser Poland. The Wesoła Meadow will also feature a large food court offering cuisine from around the world as well as local delicacies.
As organisers state, the Art-Picnic ‘will be a place where you can come with your family and friends and spend the whole day relaxing, enjoying a good meal, taking part in workshops, listening to music and spending time together’.
