In 2026, the Seweryn Udziela Ethnographic Museum in Kraków is celebrating the 115th anniversary of its opening. To mark the occasion, it will host monthly exhibitions, talks, guided walks and workshops around its collections and the history of the institution. The museum has also joined in the celebrations for the Year of Andrzej Wajda – in June, you will have an opportunity to enjoy some fun together in Wolnica Square, drawing on his theatrical and film adaptations of Stanisław Wyspiański’s Young Poland drama The Wedding. The outdoor event will feature singers, folk bands and ensembles from Małopolska.
