Forgotten Voices, a program by Joanna Sochacka-Jaworska featuring piano works by Jewish composers: Josima Feldschuh, Henriette Bosmans, Vítězslava Kaprálová, and Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel, piano quartets by Gustav Mahler and Felix Mendelssohn performed by the Amabile Piano Quartet, and works by Szymon Laks, Max Bruch, and the first jazz cellist Frederick Katz interpreted by the Czarakcziew/Kowal Duo – using the universal language of music, this festival celebrates the tradition and history of Kraków's Kazimierz district. We will also hear piano recitals by Mateusz Dubiel and Michał Basista, participants in the last Chopin Competition, and arrangements of works by Ludwig van Beethoven and Astor Piazzolla for two classical guitars. The programme of the festival will be concluded with string quartets by Joseph Haydn, Szymon Laks, and the event's patron interpreted by the Messages Quartet.
