Dancing through the films of Andrzej Wajda

The Cracovia Danza Ballet’s performance is a tribute to the distinguished director during the Year of Andrzej Wajda. The performance revolves around choreographies inspired by 19th-century dance repertoire, set to music from the director’s films and TV series. The programme for the dance gala at the Groteska Theatre features the Polonaise from Pan Tadeusz, the waltz from The Promised Land , and the mazurka from The Revenge, as well as dance interpretations of salon music from the As the Years Go By, As the Days Go By TV series.
