Listening to this concert, it's hard to believe anyone would consider the flute a boring instrument... yet that's precisely what Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote in a letter to his father. This, incidentally, didn't stop him from writing two stunning flute concertos. One of them, as well as Franciszek Doppler's Andante and Rondo for two flutes, will resound at the Kraków Philharmonic. The concert's guests will be outstanding Polish flautists, a pair in life and on stage: Agata Kielar-Długosz and Łukasz Długosz.
