This unusual exhibition focuses on the sounds of urban life that shape Krakow's identity. The exhibition comprises four segments showcasing different aspects of the local soundscape - the sounds of streets and squares, the ringing of bells, the music played in backyards and listened to in homes, and the melody of the bugle call. It highlights the changes in the city's soundscape over the last century, allowing us to notice the exceptional continuity of certain phenomena. It is an exhibition that can be listened to just as much as it can be viewed. Marcin Dymiter, an artist working with electronic music, field recordings and improvised music, has built an installation featuring archive recordings entering into dialogue with the contemporary sounds of the city.
