34th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity

‘Healthy tummies of our children’ – this slogan will accompany the 34th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, which focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases among the youngest. During last year’s campaign, nearly PLN 290 million was raised in Poland and around the world, and the nation’s desire to help is not waning. Seven Collection Centres are working together in Kraków, which enable more than two thousand volunteers with distinctive moneyboxes and hearts to collect money on the streets of the city, including Mayor Aleksander Miszalski, as well as… Adam Mickiewicz and the Wawel Dragon. Both municipal institutions and independent organisations were involved in the preparation of concerts, sports and dance events, car shows and other activities. A large stage will be erected on Main Market Square for planned concerts and the symbolic Light to the Sky. A group of golden retrievers will also be fund-raising in the city centre (there will be plenty of cuddles, tail wagging and barking the bugle call!). A dance orchestra will play at the Studio club, while the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre will host performances by associated arts groups and ensembles, a fireshow and the unveiling of the Nowa Huta Dragon.
