How can you impart your knowledge to a student without limiting his or her artistic invention? How can you draw on your teacher’s experience while retaining an individual touch in your work? The answers to these questions are provided by concerts of the autumn series Masters and Their Students. This year’s masters will be: Marek Stachowski, an outstanding composer whose work reflects the history of Polish music in the second half of the 20th century, and Anna Zawadzka-Gołosz. We will listen not only to the professors’ works but also those of their students dedicated to their masters: Wojciech Widłak, Szczepan Tesarowicz and Henryk Jan Botor (from the class of Prof. Stachowski) and Grzegorz Majka, Monika Szpyrka and Krystian Neścior (from the class of Prof. Zawadzka-Gołosz).
