The headline of Poland’s most important theatre festival this year is Waiting for the Barbarians. This year’s programme features 42 plays, some of which will be assessed by an international jury, including a special show – A Year Without Summer – by Austrian choreographer, performer and director Florentina Holzinger, whose performances bring together choreography, circus, theatre and performance to enthral audiences across three continents. The Divine Comedy is also a time for debates about theatre and performance side events.
