The starting point for this dance performance is the novel by Arturo Pérez-Reverte What We Become: A Novel focusing on two lovers whose lives are a game of chess, just like the fates of every other character. On the chessboard of life, everyone can be either a player or a pawn, and that is exactly the case in this story told in 20 images. The authors want to show that dance and image enable achieving an extraordinary aesthetic effect, but also allow to speak poignantly about the issues most important to us, humans.
