The music of French Baroque was highly influenced by the most prominent man in France at the time. Louis XIV, the Sun King, danced in ballets as a teenager, and as an adult he decided the fate of music in France through his choice of court musicians. The works that resounded in the 17th-century Paris and Versailles will be the main focus of the concert by the Baroque Orchestra of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków.
