Salon Bizarre

When creating this dance performance, directors Jakub Mędrzycki (also the author of choreography) and Ilona Gumowska turned to what is barely visible or hidden behind a veil of correctness. A vision in which fantasy is more valuable than standing firmly on the ground, and hidden matters and things show up as a full-fledged part of our lives. In their own words: “Salon Bizarre is a place of refuge for the rejected and the bizarre. A space of dreams, of fantasies, of hidden desires that introduces us to a dreamlike game.”
