Dorota Mytych: At the Back of the Mind

Mytych works in a variety of media. She probes the socio-political status quo, analysing power structures and their social base. The artist exposes the fragility and transience of systems of power by showing the processes of their gradual dissolution and transformation. What the works selected for the exhibition have in common is questioning socially established narratives. The exhibition also brings the premiere of Mytych’s latest project, dedicated to the overlooked victims of the Katyń massacre – the women murdered by the NKVD in Bykivnia.
