Nostalgia: Seekers of Fading Stars

Nostalgia, a feeling of loss, in its reflective manifestation is expressed as an ambivalent emotion, splintering into a sense of longing and a sense of belonging. The paintings, installations and sculptures presented by 22 artists associated with Kraków were an attempt to create a refuge for memories; they bring reminiscences from childhood that can offer solace. The exhibition is a journey to a carefree time, when imagination was created by the Lion King and Bouli – just as real as the view of the backyard or the school corridor.
