The first open-call exhibition at the new Gallery of the Potocki Palace fits perfectly with the feminine energy of March. Made up of students from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (Nela Tąta, Monika Chaberka, Alka Uchacz, Ola Bębenek), the PATCHD artistic group shows how, in spite of all differences in emotionality, artistic sensitivity or topics being undertaken, a beautiful whole can be created: ‘As Intermedia students, we approach the subject diversely not only in terms of technology (...), for intermedia thinking starts already at the conceptual level. We bring out the multifaceted nature of our themes with great ferocity, collectively creating a collage-like cacophonous exhibition space that reflects not only our ideas of patchwork but also the fact that we collectively exist, act and flow through one another in such a patchwork, allowing networks of associations to cross freely.’
