It will be a French-style feast! At the end of November, the Kraków Philharmonic Symphony Concert brings Bizet’s L’Arlesienne, full of warm colours, bursting with joy concert overture Roman Carnival by Berlioz and Ravel’s famed Bolero. The programme will be rounded off by Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 5 in F major with Jonathan Fournel taking the solo part. The young French (oh, yes!) pianist was revealed with brilliance to the top international scene in the spring 2021 as he won the much-coveted International Queen Elisabeth competition and he has been conquering concert halls around the world ever since.
