Heavy sounds, iconic hits, colourful bursts of joy, a food court, a funfair and amazing family atmosphere! This year, the event on the Skawinka River will take place on 10 and 11 June – the city will celebrate its festival with the band Wilki.
Rock music will dominate this year's Skawina Days, but even fans of more mellow sounds will find something they can enjoy. There will be no shortage of attractions – starting at 2:00 p.m. they will be able to enjoy the colourful Holi – festival of colours They will get to enjoy merry-go-rounds and other attractions of one of Europe's best amusement parks, as well as an extensive catering zone for foodies.
The audience in Skawina already know D.N.A, who will entertain the listeners on Saturday, alongside Żuki – a cover band playing songs made famous by The Beatles and other rock stars of the 60s and 70s. At 8:00 p.m. the stage will be taken over by one of the best Polish rock bands, which has been active since 1992, and led by its charismatic leader - Robert Gawliński. Of course, we are talking about Wilki. The organisers assume that no one will want to go home after such an experience – but there is going to be plenty to do, including a dance party with DJ Jarrooo & Callson.
Sunday attractions are going to start in early morning hours with Commandosik – a cross-country obstacle race for daredevils who are not intimidated by mud and extreme adventures. In the afternoon, the artistic sections of the Culture and Sports Centre will showcase their projects and work carried out throughout the last year, after which we will go back to music. Senior Singers will perform numerous famous songs, including "Kwiat jednej nocy" by Alibabki, "Jadą woz kolorowe" by Maryla Rodowicz, "Serduszko puka w rytmie cza-cza" by Natasza Zylska and  "Kasztany" by Sława Przybylska. The ladies of the Chrzanów University of the Third Age will then make room on stage for Stefano Terrazzino and his unforgettable Italian hits including “Volare," "Azzuro," "Mambo Italiano" and many others. The celebrations will end with a new take on legendary Polish rock - Adrenalina & Perfect. The repertoire of musicians from the Perfect Fan Club and former members of the legendary band features timeless classics, as well as new songs, including “Naiwny Sen”.
