What is architecture, and what is its potential? How can we describe its relationship with people? The new permanent exhibition at the Szołayski House explores these and other questions to capture an image of contemporary Polish architecture.
Selected architectural designs and projects from the 20th and 21st centuries are divided into thematic sections. “These paths through space and through our thoughts become a guide to the history of Polish architecture with all its specific contexts and backgrounds. Devised as universal questions on the nature of architecture, they encourage reflection on architecture in general and on Polish architectural heritage from timeless and supra-regional perspectives,” promises the exhibition guide.
