The exhibition at the Manggha Museum presents landscapes of the Tatra Mountains by Andrzej Wróblewski (1927–1957), one of the greatest Polish artists of the 20th century, in the context of artworks by Leon Wyczółkowski (1852–1936) and photos by the composer, conductor and mountaineer Mieczysław Karłowicz (1876–1909). The artists all shared a passion for hiking and climbing and an extraordinary talent for translating the pursuits into visual language. The exhibition also features traditional Japanese woodcuts depicting mountain views and examples of arts and crafts with mountain motifs from the collection of Feliks “Manggha” Jasieński.
