The Jagiellonian Library marks Year of Nicolaus Copernicus with a presentation of some of the most important memorabilia from its collections, including a manuscript of his masterwork De revolutionibus orbium coelestium, its first three editions and the document confirming his enlistment as a student at the Jagiellonian University. The exhibition focuses on the development of Copernicus’s heliocentric theory in the context of the revolutionary impact it had on astronomy.
