Every other year, the 20th Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Competition attracts young singers from all over the world to Nowy Sącz, and this year some of them will also come to Kraków Opera to participate in the concert of the competition finalists, in other words: the best of the best!
The phenomenal singer Ada Sari celebrated her greatest stage triumphs during the interwar period. She will be recalled during the International Festival and Competition of Vocal Art, bearing her name, held every other year in Nowy Sącz, the artist’s home. The 20th Competition will attract 77 young singers from 19 countries – graduates and students at music universities around the world. The jury is chaired by world-famous mezzo-soprano Małgorzata Walewska.
