The Kraków Philharmonic presents the next installment of the festival cycle odNova Polish Music devoted to the (unjustly) forgotten works of Polish composers.

This time, we will hear Bolesław Szabelski’s Concerto grosso, Andrzej Panufnik’s Sinfonia sacra penned for the celebrations marking the millennium of Christianity in Poland (on the 60th anniversary of its compositions) and Piano Concerto by Józef Koffler, Poland’s first composer to employ dodecaphony, featuring a solo part performed by Adam Kośmieja.

Bolesław Szabelski Concerto grosso for symphonic orchestra
Józef Koffler Piano Concerto Op. 13
Andrzej Panufnik Sinfonia Sacra

Adam Kośmieja – piano
Kraków Philharmonic Orchestra
Sebastian Perłowski – conductor
