The concert Herrmann | Mykietyn continuesthe formula started by the Sinfonietta Cracovia orchestra last year in autumn with an evening Mozart | Doyle, a fusion of the worlds of film and classical music. This time, the Kraków Philharmonic Hall will resound with works by Bernard Herrmann, a composer closely associated with the director Alfred Hitchcock and the composer who revolutionized Hollywood, as well as Paweł Mykietyn, Polish leading composer of new music and scores for theatre and cinema. His latest composition, Jerzy Skolimowski's IO soundtrack, has gained international recognition.
