Join us on Saturday 17 December for an evening of Americana music at Strefa in the heart of Kraków. Expect country music, folk music, delta blues and more.

You will meet Georgian country, singer-songwriter Shota Adamashvili and get to know his story and how he became the only country music singer in his country.
Shota's American twang has confused many people asking him where he’s from. Born and raised in a small town of Bolnisi in the Republic of Georgia, Adamashvili would have never imagined he would become a country music singer but watching the movie The Electric Horseman changed his life forever. Its soundtrack My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys was where his dream of becoming a traveling singer/songwriter began.

After more than a decade of performing various Georgian TV shows such as Georgia’s Got Talent and The Voice, local and international festivals and small venues, Shota has got a lot of experience under his belt. Singing on live television at The Voice of Georgia and going to the quarter finals gave him quite a bit of publicity in his country but since he and his friends started the band Windshield, Shota has made even bigger strides as an artist.

SUPPORT:
Willy Blake is a performer of traditional American songs from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. His music covers folk, country blues, delta blues and Appalachian music.
