In December, the Kraków Philharmonic resounds with violin music on master level. In the beginning of the month, we listened to the laureates of the Wieniawski Competition, and there is still a lot ahead of us! Mid-December brings concerts of Inmo Yang from South Korea, winner of the prestigious International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition in Helsinki 2022.
The young artist will present Sibelius’s famous Violin Concerto, while the Kraków Philharmonic Orchestra tops up the evening’s repertoire with symphonic poem Finlandia by the same composer and Brahms’s Symphony No. 3.
