At the new exhibition at the Szołayski House, we will follow the history of Polish design from the turn of the 20th century until the present day, with the 350 exhibits representing design projects, fashion and furniture.
The exhibition opens with works by the Polish Applied Art Association and the Kraków Workshops, as well as examples of the Zakopane style. The section dedicated to the Second Polish Republic focuses on modernism and the avantgarde. The largest room is dedicated to fashion, with another space presenting Polish 20th century posters. There are also examples of design from the communist period, and projects created since 1989, ranging from Polish computer games to public space design.
