LAMB, dir. Valdimar Johansson, Iceland 2021, 106 '- pre-premiere screening

An atmospheric, disturbing drama with elements of fairy tales and horror. The Icelandic director's debut takes place on an isolated farm where a young couple looks after a herd of sheep. Their harsh, work-filled lives change rapidly when an extraordinary creature is born in the pen one night. María and Ingvar take her home, and their decision to take care of the newborn is accompanied by the anger and despair of the sheep's mother's bleating. The growing tension is exacerbated by the arrival of Ingvar’s brother: a lost musician who always has empty pockets and brings only trouble with him.

LUX ÆTERNA, dir. Gaspar Noé, France 2020, 55 '- ATTENTION! The film contains scenes with a strobe light.

A hypnotic, devilish, and full of black humor story about the backstage of a certain advertising film. In the scenery resembling the abyss of hell, stars and models dressed in luxurious costumes are prepared for the stake. The tension and chaos on the set unexpectedly awaken dormant desires. Will the piles really catch fire?

PSYCHO GOREMAN, dir. Steven Kostanski, Canada 2020, 95 '

"Psycho Goreman" is the most intimate love letter to practical special effects, bloody destruction, and total movie madness. Director Steven Kostanski ( "The Void") lets his imagination run wild and allows himself to create a film that we all would like to see as kids - a bloody, vulgar, and completely unbraked story about an alien driven by the will to destroy who arrives on Earth and falls into a trap a little (though just as mean!) girl.
