Looking for the inspiration for his Piano Concerto in G major, Maurice Ravel reached for his Basque roots and Spanish folklore, as well as works by Mozart and Saint-Saëns. It resulted in the composition full of lightness and elegance, sparkling with changing sounds, rhythms and moods. It will be performed by Radosław Goździkiewicz, laureate of the Playing with Orchestra Competition 2021.
The programme of the concert will be rounded off by Beethoven’s “Eroica” interpreted by the Symphony Orchestra of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków under the baton of Alexander Humala.
