Music by Darius Milhaud inspired by Brazilian rhythms and penned originally as a surrealistic ballet and minimalistic, trance-like Bolero by Maurice Ravel will transfer us to 1920s Paris to recall its colours and sounds. The programme of the concert is rounded off by the premiere of work by Wojciech Widłak dedicated to Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński on the centenary of the birth of Polish poet, one one of the most well-known of the Generation of Columbuses, who was killed during the Warsaw Uprising.
