His incredible career can be visualised in numbers: over the course of 65 years, he composed over 100 classical pieces and written soundtracks for over 400 films, while albums of his music sold over 70 million copies worldwide. But the public adored Ennio Morricone not for the impressive statistics, but for his music which touches our hearts and gives films a whole new dimension. The Italian master who passed away earlier this year visited our city many times; on 20 October, ICE Kraków presents the Homage to Ennio Morricone performed by orchestra, choir and soloists under the baton of Marcin Wolniewski.
