How can mentors transfer their experience to their pupils without restricting their creativity? And, on the flip side, how can pupils make the most of their teachers’ knowledge without copying their ideas? The cycle Masters and Pupil
reveals how the finest musicians achieve this delicate balance.
On 8 October, Florianka Recital Hall resounds with works by Zbigniew Bujarski and Krzysztof Penderecki and their former students Michael Gatonska, Karol Nepelski and Hyewon Lee. The concert is preceded by a meeting with Maestro Penderecki.
